The Agriculture Department represents the  Dutch Ministry of Agriculture, Nature and Food Quality and forms an intermediate between the Dutch agriculture, horticulture, food and food processing industry, agri-business, fisheries, nature conservation organisations, agricultural research organisations and their counterparts in the Czech and Slovak Republic.

The Agriculture Department amongst others promotes the export of agricultural products, food products and services from the Netherlands to the Czech and Slovak Republic as well as investments of Dutch companies in the Czech and Slovak Republic. The Agriculture Department for example participates in trade fairs and supplies information to importers, distributors or agents of Czech and Slovak companies that would like to import. The Agriculture Department also publishes reports for the Dutch agribusiness on several important Czech and Slovak agribusiness sectors.
