The Defence Attaché is the military representative of the Netherlands Ministry of Defence in the Czech Republic and is the primary contact for issues concerning the Netherlands Ministry of Defence.

The Defence Attaché keeps interested parties in The Hague informed about the developments and trends in the Air Force and Army of the Czech Republic and maintains close contacts with Air Force, Army and other Czech military, representatives in the Czech Ministry of Defence and with foreign accredited attaché's in the Czech Republic.

The Defence Attaché is the primary contact for the Czech military and industrial representatives for issues concerning the Royal Netherlands Air Force, Army and Navy. The Defence Attaché is also accredited to the Slovak Republic.
