The Economic and Commercial Section is responsible for the promotion of Dutch economic interests in the Czech Republic. Regarding trade promotion the economic section informs on possibilities on the Czech market and it helps Dutch companies to set up business in the Czech Republic. These services are provided free of charge. Besides, the economic section informs the Dutch government on import developments in the Czech Republic in the field of economy and trade, environment, energy, infrastructure and transport. It is also responsible for the implementation of several bilateral programmes and projects in the sphere of trade promotion and Holland Promotion. The embassy is primarily focussed on providing services to Dutch companies. On request we also provide assistance to Czech companies, however, another valuable source for them would be the  Czech Embassy in The Hague (NL) or the Dutch office of the  Czech Trade Promotion Agency in Brussels.
