The Economic and Commercial Section is responsible for the promotion of Dutch exports and investments in the Czech Republic, reporting about economic and trade policy developments in the Czech Republic and co-ordination of various bilateral programmes and projects. The embassy is primarily focussed on providing services to Dutch companies. On request we also provide assistance to Czech companies, however, another valuable source for them would be the Czech Embassy in The Hague (NL) or the Dutch office of the Czech Trade Promotion Agency in Rotterdam.

The embassy provides the following services to Dutch companies

• basic information about the Czech Republic
• relevant macro-economic figures, business culture information, market information, sector and general product information
• analysis of present and future economic developments
• answers to questions regarding export to the Czech Republic
• collective trade promotion activities - trade fair participation, sector analyses, seminars, booklets etc
• information on laws and regulations
• information about the Dutch Government Support Programs - Starters in Foreign Markets Program PSB, Economic Co-operation Project Program PESP, multilateral Programs, etc.
• information and addresses of Czech importers, potential business partners, branch organisations, government authorities
• assistance to Dutch companies in exploring their business opportunities (in co-operation with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce)
• overview of business opportunities and threats in a number of key sectors
• promotion and protection of Dutch companies' interest, especially in case of interference from the side of the Czech Government

The embassy provides the following services to Czech companies

• basic information about the Netherlands
• macro-economic information of the Netherlands, business culture information
• information and addresses of Dutch importers
